Gay Barcelona Guide – Gay Barcelona 4 U

If you are looking for an alternative fun night out in Barcelona that does not involve Matinee, then check out Saturgay’s, one of the latest ventures by Oscar Gaspar.

The event attracts quite an eclectic mix of guys, from muscle boys for disco bunnies, bears and everyone inbetween. Get on their Facebook guest list for free entrance.

The venue is The One, inside the Poble Espanyol themepark, just a 10 minute taxi from Gayxample; Entry at Avinguda Marques de Comillas.

Every week the theme changes with spectaculare peformances, amazing go-gos and a real party atmosphere. Definitey a “must-do” on your next trip to Barcelona. Saturgays takes place every Saturday… from 11.30pm.

 Loveball, the European Gay and Lesbian Festival finally announced its dates for 2008.

Last year’s event was a huge success with visitors from right around the world descending on Barcelona for 7 days of pool parties, clubbing and cultural events.

This year the event will take place on the first week of August 2008.

Matinee Group has recently announced several changes to their line up of gay parties and events.

With the closure of Salavation (one of Barcelona’s most popular Gay Clubs) at the end of January, it was only a matter of time before we saw something fresh and new hit the Barcelona Scene.

The teaser to the new concept was unveiled recently. The concept is still under wraps, but is to be called D-Boy. Stay tuned for updates.
