Gay Barcelona Guide – Gay Barcelona 4 U

 Loveball, the European Gay and Lesbian Festival finally announced its dates for 2008.

Last year’s event was a huge success with visitors from right around the world descending on Barcelona for 7 days of pool parties, clubbing and cultural events.

This year the event will take place on the first week of August 2008.

Matinee Group has recently announced several changes to their line up of gay parties and events.

With the closure of Salavation (one of Barcelona’s most popular Gay Clubs) at the end of January, it was only a matter of time before we saw something fresh and new hit the Barcelona Scene.

The teaser to the new concept was unveiled recently. The concept is still under wraps, but is to be called D-Boy. Stay tuned for updates.

It appears to be the season for Birthdays. Well known Dietrich’s is holding its 11th Anniversary on the 21st of Feb. Dietrich has become a Barcelona institution, where every night is a party night.
