The EuroGames 2008 opened on Thrursday Night to a packed audience in the heart of Barcelona…

If ever proof was needed that Gay Culture is alive and well..then the Eurogames is it…

And what better country to have it in than Spain, one of the truly most liberal places on Earth to live at this moment… and we are so thankful…

If you are in Barcelona over the next 2 weeks..then you are spolit for choice… what with the Gay Circus, Loveball and Circut Festival together with the Euro Games…. you will need to take those regular siestas if you are to stay the pace!

The games continue into the weekend…with the beach competitions taking place in our hometown of Sitges, just 30 minutes from Barcelona

The Games this year aim to stress different communities that exist within the overall gay community, especially the older generation and the transgendered…. In a gay world obsessed with perfection and some gay people obsessing about "Straight Acting" men.. this is a worthy cause… if we can not tolerate one another then what hope have we of teacing tolerance to the straight world looking in….

With events that vary from Tango dancing to Beach Volleyball…there’s something for everyone at this year’s Games…

Our heartfelt thanks and congratulations to the event organisers who have been working to promote these games over the past 12 months. The event was attended by leading government members, the local mayor and major Spanish celebrities… we will have more photos over the comming days as our roving reporters take shot after shot after shot….
